Time Traveling Through the Thousand Doors

*****

Lawang Sewu (translated as the Thousand Doors) is one of the most beautiful building in Indonesia. It was built on the early 20th century by the Dutch as an office. Around 40's, the Japan turns the office into a torturing place. No wonder that this place is also famous as the most haunted place in Indonesia. Brrrr...

My mind goes on a time travel whenever I enter this grand building. There is something in the air that makes me feel a bit melancholic- in a good way. The identical doors and huge windows neatly line-up creating a magnificent view and a feeling of orderly.
I can even picture a busy crowd working, walking, chattering, and saying hi to each other several years ago. The air is still fulfilled by their spirit. It's everywhere and makes it feel warm, yet, gloomy..

In such a large building, we can always find a little surprise such as this homey little door at the rooftop of the building: it's my favorite!

On the Edge of the Prairie

*****

It was a fine day when me and my beloved take a little walk on the edge of the prairie. I always love to watch the puffing cloud floating up above me and feel the wide thick green grass bouncing under my feet. So I ran around, sit under the big tree, and laying on the ground- celebrating the day.

I end up having this everlasting childhood dream about the fairy-circle used for fairy dance every full moon. I wish I could enter the circle, get captured by the little fairies and hopefully, they'll let me stay there joining the fairy dance.

This time, I didn't find any fairy-circle. Yet, I jump around and draw a pair of pink wings on my back- wondering what kind of fairy would I be if I were one: would I be a flower fairy, a light fairy, or water fairy?

Whatever it is, I wish I could live on the edge of the prairie and be addressed as the fairy of the prairie.. :)

Yay!

Introducing Vilual- my first handmade necklace! I present it for my friend's wedding and I made another one for me. Then, I just happen to lose the crafting mood and haven't create a single accessory yet after Vilual. I will, soon.. right after I retain my crafting mood.. ;)

The Girls inside The Ladies

High school never ends when I'm with these girls. We're all grown up, walking in the path of our own, and five years away from the glorious high school. Yet, the girls in us just want to have some fun!

More and more..
