Redefining Love and Joy of Life

I found this site when I browse on one of my daily blog supplement. I fell in love right away to these magical figures by Rebekah Bogard. Not just because it's drop-dead cute and pastel-colored, I can also feel a great amount of love and joy of life inside each figures. So big it's even makes them joyfully 'behave' in sort of autistic way. The big picture of the exhibition looks like a little village full of lovebirds who care of nothing else. Love and leisure is in the air! Don't you wish you were there too? I do. :)

The Abandoned Little White House

As long as I can remember, this little white house has been abandoned for good many years. It's not very unusual- for there are a lot of pretty abandoned villas in my neighborhood.* Yet, this one has always been one of my favorite. The house is romantically painted in white, it's surrounded by glass doors and large windows, and it has a wide wild garden with a small white pond and a fountain.

Sometime in the past, it might be one of the loveliest house in the neighborhood with a decent garden and happy little family. Everytime I pass this house, I made up some stories and questions in my mind, wondering who once lived here. Was it a happy family spending their weekend in this fresh-air area, or was it owned by a royal lady who spends her day writing and playing piano- enjoying her solitude? Was it once a warm home full of love or was it dull?!

Yet, since I first had romantic ideas regarding this house, all I know is a couple of happy loving chicken living next door and only wild plants conducting a great life in this house- which, in fact, makes the whole thing even more interesting to me. ;)

(*) P.S. I'm a bit obsessed to pretty old houses in my neigbourhood. They're just so dreamy and romantic! Next time I will post some other photos of these houses and share my obsession with you.. ;)

The Little Shoes, Drops, Fru-Fru, and Strawberries

Another picnic story: this time I have two invisible little guesses with me. 'Drops', a tiny little fellow on his white sneaker and 'Fru-Fru' the tiny pretty girl jumping around in her pink high heels and flowy white dress. They help me picking up fresh strawberries and put them in their tiny picnic basket. I let them drink a little sip of my wine and they take me to their little garden where they grow mini sunflower in a swan-shape basket. At the end of the day, Fru-Fru invites me for a dinner with them, she says she's making fresh strawberry cheese cake for the dessert. But it was too dark and I need to get back home so we say goodbye. They're such a lovely invisible couple!
