Yeah!
It's Miy, the Picnic Girl what?! Oh, I've crossed to the dark side. No more picnic dresses, no more greenery, no more fairy tales, and say hello to the darker side of Miy! Ha-ha! *devilish laugh* I am now a Lady Rocker! Yeaaah!
.........
Really?
Of course (not)!Really?
I'm talking a big big fat lie! :D *ha-ha* Now, it's DreaMiy talking.. I'm still the picnic girl, still the same dreamy girl inside, now and then. ;)
Anyway, I just bought this zebra skirt I mentioned on my previous outfit post and an ankle boots (finally!). This is my first ankle boots, my first animal-printed, and it's my first time I really cut my t-Shirt to make a one-shouldered top. Also, I cut the actual skirt and turn it into a mini.
That's why I dedicate a post for my new most unusual items. Instead of a cheery merry picnic photos with flowy flower-printed sundress, I opt for a Lady-Rocker lookalike in the darker hue of rustic wall (do you see those cracks?). Well, who said I can't look that tough?! It's easybitsy.. But, if you pay a close attention, you might see the detail zebra bow on my mini skirt. Yeep.. the recess fabrics is tied into a bow a la the real Picnic Girl's soul.
Since it's my first mini-animal-printed-skirt, I found it pretty hard to mix and match anything in my closet with the skirt. It was frustrating so I take my most unloved plain black T-shirt and a scissor; kresh..kresh..kresh.. and a minute latter: Voila! the perfect match for my zebra skirt. My poor black t-shirt is now beloved again. Yay!
And oh the shoes! I've been drooling over that specific pair since I first saw it at Centro. I was looking for the perfect ankle boots and nothing seem to be versatile yet delicate enough for me but this one. So I gave her a new home and love her with all my heart.
So, how do you like my unusual look? ;)

P.s: in case you're wondering, I haven't got the heart to wear this pairing in public. Instead, I would opt for a ruffled white shirt, black cropped jacket, girly shoes, and a headband to pair with the zebra skirt; so I can feel more myself in that not-my-regular-choice skirt. I might post the photos later on Chictopia.
