Twisting Stems of Rosebuds

Let us dance in the sun, wearing wild flowers in our hair.

Right after my flower-crown-making lesson by Mr.Palm, I went straightly home and refresh my crafting mood (that only occur once before, here). I wanted a more durable flower crown ,so, I opt to buy satin flowers instead of picking up some fresh buds. I also want it to be versatile so I choose white (white is my favorite color, by the way). An hour later, I already made two crowns: the full buds and the more nymph-like one. It's really easy, you can make it yourself and add up bows, laces, pearls, or anything that you like!

First, gather as many flowers as you can get; choose ones with long and strong stalks. In this part, I suggest you to buy some satin or plastic flowers instead for the sake of durability and for not ruining the life of real flowers.

Take two flowers and twist the stems tightly. Add more flowers and tighten the twist, make sure it won't break easily. The gap between each flowers is depend on what kind of flower crown you'd like to make.

Add more flower in the same way twisting around itself until it's long enough to go round your head. When you're sure it's long enough, bring each end together, twist them tightly one another. Bond the ends tightly using a wire of the satin flower stalk. Voila! There goes the full bud flower crown!

For a more nymph-like flower crown, you can make a simpler version by giving a gap between each flower like this one above. Easybitsy!
