24 Hours at Lir

Working as an entrepreneur, I have the trickiest time-span ever. It could be very elastic and tight at the very same time. There are days that feels so long and days that fly too fast. Luckily, I feel like I'm in control of it most of the time. It could feel like everyday is a holiday, and at the same time, it feels like there is no such thing as holiday at all-- it's a 24/7 work.. a fun one, tho.. ;) Plus.. I have a day-off from the shop every Monday when I usually take nowhere ride or going to the beach with bf! (I love Mondays!!)

Now, let me take you to a small tour of my 24 hours life at Lir..

::Morning::

Morning is my favorite time at Lir. I usually get up at 6.30 and make a quick breakfast for my little sister when we're staying overnight at Lir. Breakast is to be served hot and enjoyed at the backyard where the birds are busy, butterflies are fluttering by, lizards are freely running asking for some leftovers, the morning sky is soft and gentle, and the sunshine strikes through the windows. It was as if I was on a picnic or something..

Later in the morning, I'd clean up a bit and have either a me-time reading a book over my morning mocha, or working on some task while I'm alone..it's when I get most of the things done and I looove it! Morning is a quality time to be with myself. 

The morning paperwork work consist of writing some stuff for Lir's blog, introduction for a Lir Space exhibition, events report, shop daily report and monthly analysis, writing or translation job, my zine or personal project, promotion, making list, and managerial planning. In brief: things that I love doing.. *wink*

::Day::

Around 9.30, the part-timer taking the morning shift will be arrive and help me setting up the shop. Having my sisters, Gabby, Pinky, Dhea, Bisma, Dimpil, and Dito..I'm blessed with the best team ever! (photos of them will be posted next) 

My day would be filled with cooking, gossiping, shopping, cooking again, meeting people, planning, cooking again, and more writings to do. Once a week, we'd have classes (clay class, crafting workshop, cooking class), birthdays, clubs (book making club, idea club), artist talk, presentation, and exhibition opening. That's when things get reaallyyy really exciting! ;)

::Afternoon::

The afternoon is one of my most favorite time at Lir.. friends would come, clubs will be held, the weather will be indulging, Lir will be filled with activities, conversation, laughter, and warmth. This would goes on from midday to the closing time (8pm).. 

If I feel like my energy is still overwhelming, I'll usually go for an opening party of an art exhibition elsewhere, go for a see-and-to-be-seen events, music concert, watching a theater play, or simply have a coffee and late-night pizza in some laid back place in town. Other time, I'd opt for an hour drive to be back to my mother's home to get mountain air, having a short night hot tub session or massage, and go to bed early. At other busy day when deadlines are approaching, I'll sleepover at Lir and get things done at night (when I'll usually slept on it and get it actually done in the morning..)
