The Miraculous Journey of Love

"If you have no intention of loving or being loved, then the whole journey is pointless"

Let's talk about love.

Lately, it seems like everyone (at least in my timeline) are in a quest of love. Some of them are heartbroken, some others are still searching, some are loved, some are loving. Funny how it seems like love is an endless journey. True love found, first love gone, old love renewed.. it's a never-ending cycle, never-ending story!

But the saddest of all, are those who doesn't believe in love.. just like Edward from The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. Oh, there I go again! Seems like I always learn about love through children literature.. Little Prince, Star Girl, The Magician's Elephant, Alice in Wonderland.. I think I simply won't grow up after all.. But then again, through the honest and simple-loving children storybook, is where the best lesson of love learnt.

This post is dedicated to those who's taking the journey of love. Sometime, you just need to keep doing what you love and the one will knock on your door. This post is inspired by The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate diCamillo.

"I have been loved", Edward told the stars.

“Perhaps,” said the man, “you would like to be lost with us. I have found it much more agreeable to be lost in the company of others.”

The old doll said, “I wonder who will come for me this time. Someone will come.  Someone always comes.  Who will it be?”

"Someone will come for you, but first you must open your heart.."
