The Engagement Party

(the engagement ring)

*****

Last Sunday, Oct 28th, I was engaged to my beloved photographer: Dito Yuwono. Where I come from, an engagement (and even popping the question) is followed with a ritual and big family introduction, party, and witnessing. Seldom will we find the man actually kneeling down with a diamond ring in real life here, and that's how things go.

Anyway.. about me and Dito, we have been going out forever; we actually grow up together, and the time we spent was irreplaceable. Our love story can be read here. Sure enough, it would only be acceptable if we finally tie the knot.  Everyone are very happy and so do I, I guess. Yes, I do still feel funny about all these changes regarding my freedom and I was too busy preparing the party I don't know how I really feel about it. But, the day was perfect. I've always had all these thoughts and vision about my engagement party even more than my vision about my wedding. To see it came true is a bliss!

Now let the pictures do the talk!
